The Visual DNA
35mm photography, analog look, heavy grain. No 3D renders. No stock smiles.
Dutch-angle, off-axis frames. Tilt the horizon to inject urgency and momentum — the signature of the house.
High-contrast monochrome or muted, desaturated grades. Deep blacks, honest mid-greys, the texture carries the time.
Directional side-light, golden hour, overcast North East skies. Never artificial studio light.
Raw, candid, cinematic. The human moment over the polished one — reverent of the game and its people.
Monochrome is the house, but colour is used with intention — a single, deliberate pop for a team, a story, a flare. Cinematic grading, never decorative.
The 19·33 magpie sits bottom-centre, white, on every hero frame — the constant watermark of the archive.
The Photography Archive
Faces, kit and texture we won't get back. Shot rough, on the day, the way it actually felt — not the way it photographed.

Graphic Design
The image is the hero. Always. Gloock or Bebas titles layered over the photograph: white for the editorial, Sacred Gold for the glory. Bodoni underneath drops the register. Literal iconography (the strawberry, the trophy) is set inside real, architectural frames using the brand imagery style. The 19·33 magpie is anchored bottom-centre. This is the blueprint. But it must always be led by the photography. That dictates everything else. The story is the king.

Rule of thirds. Off-centre subjects. Foreground elements — heads, jerseys, fabric — used to curtain the mid-ground.
Stadium stairs, pitch markings, terrace rows, structural beams — and the slow, enclosing circle of the London Eye.
Overcast North East skies, golden hour, harsh side shadows. Directional, never flat, never artificial.
Dutch-angle, off-axis frames. Tilt the horizon to set the energy — never level, never dead-centre.
Out-of-focus heads, a scarf, a pole, scaffold in the near plane. Depth is built before the subject, not behind it.
Heavy 35mm grain, muted or monochrome grade. The texture is the point — the photo is allowed to feel like a photo.
